I started my career as an HR generalist in automotive manufacturing, and then came to Newell Brands as an HR Generalist. I eventually grew to have responsibility over an entire manufacturing location and then moved to the corporate side supporting different Businesses Units as an HR Leader. I then rose to an HR Manager and was supporting Business Units in Canada.
When I went to the interview with Newell Brands and learned of all the other brands in the portfolio, I was very impressed and excited about the opportunity. My favorite thing about working at Newell is the people! I know sounds like a standard HR answer, but it is the truth. The Canada Team is great and almost like family, and I really appreciate all the support of the Global HR Team I get to work with on a regular basis.
Newell’s culture is headed in a very positive direction and I always say to candidates I am interviewing this is a great time to be joining Newell!

I work within the Baby business as a senior engineer in compliance with oversight for reporting and recall management for all businesses in Canada. Newell Brands is a company with excellent brands and a great reputation, and I love that no day is the same – there are always unique challenges and growth opportunities.
The culture here is both inclusive and supportive. There are great people with common goals of delivering the best possible products to our consumers.
Working within the Baby business of course, some of my favorite products are within that sphere. The innovation of the Graco® SnugLock™ feature is on multiple car seats and serves to protect our consumers and provide peace of mind.

I started my career with an international manufacturing company working in HR and Recruitment and then transitioned over to the Talent Operations side when I joined Newell Brands in 2016. Making the jump to Talent Operations was the best professional decision I’ve ever made. At Newell, every day is both unique and exciting while also challenging.
Newell has an incredible portfolio of brands however, it wasn’t just the brands that sold me; Newell offers an inclusive and diverse culture, growth opportunities, a best-in-class benefits package, and amazing perks, such as schedule work flexibility, summer hours and employee product discounts.
I’m currently obsessed with Marmot ®’s Long Hauler Duffel. It’s lightweight, roomy yet compact and can also function as a backpack. It is the most functional travel bag that I have ever owned, and my entire family now owns one.
My team is the most inspiring, fun, caring and talented group of individuals that I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. We laugh daily, support and challenge each other, and everyone is willing to help where needed – no questions asked. Every background, every personality is unique and that not only makes for a strong, well-rounded team, but it has helped me to grow professionally and personally.
Newell’s culture is so welcoming. Coworkers are not just seen as employees, but as family. From various Employee Resource Groups and volunteer events, Newell offers something for everyone.

I’ve worked for Newell Brands for 33 years, starting under Sunbeam®, and have grown from supervising consumer services to supervising returns and aftermarket sales. Although it wasn’t quite in the realm of my degree, getting my foot in the door at Newell through a part-time consumer services role turned permanent and I was so grateful.
I love that the people are great to work with and there are continuous learning opportunities available as I really enjoy learning and helping people. Also, I love that even amidst diversity on the factory floor, employees still communicate well with one another in a positive way throughout the day. Newell has great products and I love working with our Home Appliances brands. I am a huge fan of my Oster® and Calphalon® products – couldn’t live without them!
