Newell Brands recently launched its Brand Academy program, a set of three-day training sessions designed to equip our Marketing talent with the skills and knowledge necessary to unlock innovation potential from our leading brands and deliver best-in-class brand communications. The program supports our strategic “How to Win” choice of creating compelling brand-building and communications capabilities.
Facilitated by training professionals from CPG Camp, participants receive training from internal and external industry experts focused on practical use cases that address projects and challenges our employees face to help bridge the gap between hypothetical scenarios and real-life practice. Topics from the first two sessions included Brand Targeting and Positioning, Business Planning, Creative Briefs, Media Planning, P&L Management, Category Playbooks and more.
Participants from the first Brand Academy session touted the program’s effectiveness and engaging content, saying it was “by far the best brand training Newell has ever provided,” capturing their attention for the full three days.
